Aloha! I just got back from spending the holidays on Oahu, doing some rigorous research for the relaunching of Hawaii Islander (stay tuned). One of my favorite finds was seeing firsthand the amazing renovation OUTRIGGER Hospitality has done to their Ohana East property, built on the former estate of Princess Ka‘iluani. Her home was known as Paradise Garden, which is why the property is now called the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Paradise Hotel. General Manager Kiana Beimes (left) and team have curated local artists to showcase the best of the islands to ensure guests feel the Aloha during their entire stay. Despite the 443-room property being completely updated and improved, pricewise, it is still on our Best Vetted Value list for Oahu. Read Jeanne Cooper’s update on the property below.
