Montana Renewables, LLC and World Energy Clean Fuels LLC announced a SAF agreement that will deliver more than 70 million gallons of SAF to the market over three years, reducing as much as 600,000 MT of CO2 emissions while strengthening the American economy, supporting the agricultural community and bolstering domestic energy independence.

Lithium Americas said capital expenditures for Phase 1 of its Thacker Pass lithium project will range between $1.3B and $1.6B in 2026, as the Canadian miner accelerates construction at the Nevada site toward a late-2027 completion target.

 

 

Phillips 66, Citgo seek to buy crude directly from Venezuela

U.S. refiners Phillips 66 and Citgo Petroleum are seeking to buy heavy crude directly from Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA starting in April to maximize profits, rather than purchasing through trading houses and U.S. oil major Chevron, according to sources familiar with the efforts.
