Energy infrastructure company Enbridge said it had reached a final investment decision to invest $900 million on a 600 megawatt solar power project in Texas, as demand for clean energy from tech companies drives growth in renewables.
The company is expected to retain 295 current positions with an estimated salary more than 30% above the parish average. Louisiana Economic Development estimates the project will result in an additional 819 indirect new jobs.
